Who collects the data
a-lign studio is a web design and development studio based in Slovenia, Europe. When we say “we,” “us,” or “our,” we mean a-lign studio. This website is a-lign.studio.

What data we collect and why
When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name, project type, budget range, and project description. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and to assess whether your project is a good fit. We don’t add you to any mailing list or share your information with anyone.
When you book a call through Calendly, your name, email address, and any information you provide in the booking form is processed by Calendly. We use this information to schedule and prepare for our call. Calendly has its own privacy policy which you can review at calendly.com/privacy.
We display client testimonials on our website with the client’s name, role, and company. We only publish testimonials with explicit consent from the client. If you’d like your testimonial removed, contact us and we’ll take it down.
We use cookies
Our website uses cookies — small files stored on your device that help us understand how the site is used.
Essential cookies are set by Webflow to keep the website functioning. These are necessary and can’t be turned off.
We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our website — which pages get visited, how long people stay, and where they come from. This data is anonymous and aggregated. We don’t use it to identify individuals.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser extension, or by adjusting cookie settings in your browser.
Where your data is stored
Our website is hosted on Webflow, which uses Amazon Web Services [AWS] servers primarily located in the United States. Analytics data is processed by Google, which stores data on servers worldwide. Calendly processes booking data on US-based servers.
This means your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area [EEA]. These providers comply with applicable data protection frameworks to ensure your data is handled securely.
How long we keep your data
Contact form submissions are kept for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and assess project fit — typically no longer than 12 months. Calendly booking data is managed according to Calendly’s retention policies. Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for 14 months, after which it’s automatically deleted.
What your rights are
Under GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to or restrict processing of your data, and request a copy of your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@a-lign.studio. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Third-party services
Our website uses the following third-party services that may process your data: Webflow [hosting], Google Analytics [analytics], Google Tag Manager [tag management], and Calendly [call booking]. Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them if you want to understand how your data is handled beyond our website.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top of the page. For significant changes, we’ll make it clear on the website. We won’t notify you individually unless required by law.
